My name is Charlotte Dowson.
I am an experienced Rogerian psychotherapist working in a transpersonal integrative model, meaning that I work with what you bring to your agenda using different techniques when appropriate.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and the NCPS (National Counsellors and Psychotherapists Society) and bound by their strict code of ethics and professional guidelines.
I am CPCAB Level 5 Diploma-qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a qualified bereavement counsellor, with experience supporting clients through personal and professional challenges. I have worked with Cruse Bereavement, a homelessness charity, a low-cost counselling service, and in therapist training.
Before retraining, I co-founded and continue to direct a creative and marketing agency, giving me over 25 years of leadership experience. This combination of business insight and counselling expertise enables me to help executives manage stress, improve decision-making, and maintain peak performance.
As a psychotherapist, I help executives and senior leaders optimise their performance, clarity, and well-being. Through tailored, confidential sessions, I support you in managing stress, navigating complex decisions, enhancing emotional intelligence, and maintaining focus under pressure. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with deep listening, enabling you to unlock personal resilience, improve relationships, and sustain peak performance—both professionally and personally.
